Solar Panels for pool heating

Solar panels are superb for pool heating and are at their most effective when there's lots of solar energy available. They are usually made of rubber and are connected to the output of the pool filter

Solar panels which represent about 40-50% of the pool surface area, will make a real difference although in the southern regions of France 30% will perform well. They're available in black or a colour similar to clay roof tiles. The black one's work out cheaper because they absorb the sun's energy better and fewer are required.
