A wind turbine could reduce your electricity bill by as much as 30% and contrary to rumours they are quiet and don't kill birds!

We have small 1KW wind turbines that can supplement your utility connection or much larger versions which could completely power your French home. They can be combined with solar panels to create a hybrid system.

Unfortunately you can't sell your wind turbine electricity back to EDF unless you're in a ZDE (Zone Development Eolienne) and it's extremely difficult to have a zone declared - rats!

You don't however need planning permission if it's under 12m high because it's classed as a temporary structure.

Prices start at around €1000 and it's imperative you ask for a free survey because the location of a wind turbine is extremely important. It's the difference between something that generates lots of electricity an expensive toy!
